RESERVATION POLICY
Each reservation requires a name, contact phone number, and credit card information.
CANCELLATION POLICY
In order to avoid a 50% rental cost charged to the credit card supplied, the reservation must be cancelled 3 days in advance. For groups with 10 or more machines, 7 day notice is necessary.
OVERNIGHT RENTALS
We consider overnight rentals on a case-by-case basis. Depending on your travel destination, there may be private land issues to consider, as well as an overnight charges.
POOR-WEATHER POLICY
In the event of poor weather for the reserved ride date, no cancellation charges will be processed at the discretion of Mad Mountain Adventures.
VEHICLE INSPECTION POLICY
Each operator is given the opportunity to inspect the rental vehicle prior to the ride. Any pre-existing conditions, such as scratches, are noted on the renter's check-out form. Any damage not recorded becomes the renter's financial responsibility.
VEHICLE DAMAGES
ANY vehicle damages become the operator's financial responsibility. During the check-out time, any pre-existing scratches will be noted on the check-out sheet.
MULTI-DAY RENTALS
Multi-day rentals are considered on a case-by-case basis. Overnight charges apply. A rental day starts at 8:00am each day and ends at 5:00pm the final rental day.
DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTS
A current credit card is required at time of departure for use as a security deposit for each vehicle. An imprint will be made of the card.
FUEL POLICY
All vehicles leave full of fuel. In order to avoid a refueling charge, all vehicles must be returned full of fuel. You only have to be responsible for the amount you consume during your adventure.
EXTRA GEAR
A limited selection of winter gloves and summer goggles are available for a small purchase price.
CAUTIONS OF SPORT
As with any outdoor sport, ATV and snowmobile riding are inherently dangerous sports. Ride with wisdom and caution and our FREE rental helmets!

MAPS! MAPS! MAPS!
Snowmobile maps are provided by SD Tourism and are used ONLY for the winter season.
ATV maps are available in limited quantities from the USFS. We make copies of the areas of interest for your use. A basic and effective map has been developed with great success and is available from our office and area campgrounds.
